All bodies and abilities are welcome in my yoga classes, beginners are very welcome! I will guide you to explore a variety of yoga styles and practices, to work, rest and reset your body and mind, with explanations along the way, so you won't be left wondering; why am I doing this? We’re a friendly bunch and we don’t take ourselves too seriously!  

Classes are often themed, with a specific focus, such as the season, mindfulness, the Chakras and the physical body. We explore how yoga can support our all-round mental and physical wellbeing, through relaxation, movement, breathing techniques, held postures, guided meditations and soundscapes.

You do not need a yoga mat! Just bring yourself in comfy clothes. You do not need to be flexible and you do not have to wear leggings!

The main intention of my classes are to help you explore a wide variety of yoga styles and techniques; to learn what it is and why it's so good for us, along with tips and takeaways for other methods to make healthy choices to support wellness too.

Yoga has the power to positively change all aspects of our lives and anyone can practice yoga. Benefits:

Yogalates

Blending the benefits of both yoga and Pilates (more info on Pilates below)

Mats and equipment provided. Please wear something comfy and bring a water bottle.

The class structure is:

20 mins Pilates exercises

30 mins Yin Yoga to stretch and strengthen

10 mins Basic Savasana relaxation, without any spiritual meditation

Pilates

In Pilates we connect the body and the mind from within rather than from the spiritual as in yoga. The focus is on precision of each exercise and correct body alignment rather than number of repetitions, so you can work to your own pace/limit.

Mats and equipment provided. Bring a water bottle and wear something comfy and cool.

Benefits:

As the previous event was such a great success, Kate will offer another opportunity to experience this mini retreat. Within the beautiful and relaxed setting of the Hands On Retreat at Pridhamsleigh, between Ashburton & Buckfastleigh, Kate will guide you through a day that will leave you feeling replenished and nurtured.

All abilities are catered for so no previous experience of yoga is necessary. You do not need to be bendy, you do not need to wear leggings and you do not need any of your own equipment.

Bring the intention to relax and invest in your own mental and physical well-being and the retreat will take care of everything else.
